For coaches & personal trainers

Spend the session coaching, not writing spreadsheets

Pair with a client by @handle and write sessions straight into their app. See what they actually did between sessions. The console is free to you — your client pays for their own membership.

Free for 1:1 coaching. Club licences are A$8.00 per player per month.

The problem

The hours you do not get paid for

The part of personal training that takes the time is not the hour in the gym. It is the programming, the progression, the "what weight should I use", the rewriting when someone tweaks a shoulder, and the spreadsheet nobody but you can read.

It is also the part clients value least, because it is invisible to them.

The console takes the mechanical half — progression, prehab rotation, deloads, testing cycles — and leaves you the half that actually needs a coach: watching people move and deciding what they need.

What you get

The 1:1 workspace

Home

Overview and alerts across every client — who has trained, who has gone quiet, who flagged pain.

Clients

Every client, their program, their history and their testing, in one list.

Schedule

Sessions and check-ins, so a week of coaching is one screen rather than five apps.

Your own sessions

Write sessions with a shared exercise index of 554 movements and push them into a client’s app.

Automatic progression

Prescribed weights, four-week blocks and deloads run underneath whatever you write.

One sign-in for both

Club squads and private clients in the same console, if you do both.

FAQ

Coaching questions

What does the coach console cost?
Nothing, for 1:1 coaching. Your client pays for their own Train Smart membership and you get the console free. The paid product is the club licence, which is a different thing.
How do I add a client?
Pair with them by their @handle. They accept the request, and from then on you can write sessions straight into their app and see what they actually did.
Can I coach club players and private clients in one place?
Yes. The console holds both under one sign-in — a club S&C who also takes three private clients sees both, in one sidebar, without switching apps.
Do I have to use Train Smart’s programming?
No. You can write every session yourself, or let the app build the program and override the parts you want to change. Most coaches use it for the parts they find tedious — progression and prehab — and write the sessions that matter themselves.
What do I see about a client?
What they have consented to share: completed sessions, logged loads, testing results, availability and rehab status. Consent is per-category and they control it.
