Pricing

Two products. Two prices.

One for an athlete buying for themselves. One for a club buying for a squad. No tiers, no feature gates, no annual lock-in.

Working it out

When does a club licence beat individual memberships?

Almost immediately, which is the point. A club paying for a whole squad costs less than a third of the squad buying it themselves.

FAQ

Pricing and billing questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes — one month free for athletes, and 30 days free for clubs. The athlete trial is an Apple introductory offer, which means Apple owns its rules: one trial per Apple ID ever, and cancelling mid-trial does not end it early — your access runs to the original expiry date and simply stops renewing.
How do I cancel?
Through your Apple ID subscription settings, the same as any App Store subscription. There is a direct link inside the app. Cancelling leaves your data intact.
Why is there no Android version?
Train Smart is currently iPhone and iPad only. The coach console runs in any browser on a laptop, so a coach on Android can still use that.
Why is the athlete subscription bought in the app rather than on the web?
Because Apple requires it. App Store rules mandate in-app purchase for digital subscriptions on iOS. The club licence is different — that is a business-to-business transaction bought on a laptop, so it goes through normal card payment.
If my club pays, do I still pay?
No. When a club buys seats, every player in the squad gets full Train Smart membership at no cost to them — no purchase screen, no card. That is the whole design of the club product.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
It stays. Your training history, logs and profile are not deleted when a subscription lapses, and they are there if you come back. You can also delete your account and all its data at any time from inside the app.
Is there a discount for juniors or students?
Not currently as a separate price. The route that makes Train Smart free for a junior is their club buying seats — at A$8 a player it is usually cheaper for a club to cover a squad than for twenty families to each buy a subscription.

One month free. Then decide.

The free month is deliberately a full month rather than a week — a training block is the only honest way to judge a training app, and that takes weeks.
